First60 was built on a straightforward idea: that the first sixty seconds a customer spends with a product — how it looks, how it fits, how it feels when you touch the fabric and pull the hardware — should set the standard for every second that follows.
We manufacture custom shading from KwaZulu-Natal because KZN demands it. The coastal UV, the seasonal storms, the salt air off the Indian Ocean, the summer heat of the Midlands — these are not conditions that off-the-shelf product from a container can honestly claim to handle. Every material we specify and every method we use is chosen for what the KZN environment actually puts a product through.
Pool covers, shade sails, outdoor blinds, truck tarps: different products, one standard. We cut and stitch each order in our own workshop. We visit sites ourselves to take measurements and understand the setting. We install what we make and we stand behind the result.

No project starts with a product catalogue. It starts with a site visit, precise measurements, and a conversation about what you need the shading to do — and what the KZN environment will put it through.
Materials that earn their place
Every fabric, hardware fitting, and reinforcement is sourced for performance in KZN conditions. UV-stable, colour-fast, correctly rated for wind load and UV exposure. We don't substitute without telling you.
Manufactured in our workshop
We cut, stitch, and finish every product ourselves. No outsourcing, no pre-made panels resized and rebranded. What leaves our Durban workshop is what was specified — no more, no less.
Installed to last
Installation is part of the product. Incorrectly tensioned shade sails fail early. Blinds that bind are not used. We fit what we make and we don't leave until the installation is correct.
